This Privacy Notice explains how we use personal data and your rights under data protection laws.

3 How Do We Use Personal Data?

3.1 Website Visitors

If you visit our websites, we will process details of your usage of our website and any communications with us. This is for our legitimate interest relating to website performance and security. This data will be retained for up to 1 year from the visit.

Our websites also use Cookies. These are small data files that are temporarily stored on your device, for the website to work.

Messages you send us via the website or social media platforms will be retained for up to 6 years from our last engagement, in accordance with the statute of limitation.

3.2 Members

If you become a member of Buzz Bingo, we will process data that is required to fulfil our contract with you, including contact details, identification, site visits, game play, payment, transactions, incidents and operational communications.

If your account is closed, we’ll be sorry to see you go. Personal data will be retained for up to 6 years after your account is closed, to deal with any customer queries, in case you wish to reactive your account and in accordance with the statute of limitation.

In accordance with our legal obligations relating to safer gambling and to protect potentially vulnerable individuals, self-exclusion information will be retained for 7 years from the date of expiration of the last self-exclusion under the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP).

We will process member data in order to prevent and detect crime and as a public interest for anti-money laundering, sanctions and counter terrorist financing. As part of this processing, we may confidentially share relevant data with law enforcement agents, crime prevention databases and authorised credit bureaus, including TransUnion This data will be retained in order to reasonably mitigate associated risks.

3.3 Marketing

We will only send you direct marketing if you have provided consent. You can unsubscribe at any time, via your account, in one of our clubs, using the unsubscribe link in emails or SMS, by calling customer services, or by sending a request to the contact details provided above.

Please be aware of criminals who impersonate Bada Bingo and send fake communications. If you receive suspect communications or marketing where you have not consented to marketing, please notify our customer service team of suspect fraud at the earliest opportunity. Never disclose your Buzz Bingo username and password to third parties or enter those details into a website unless that website is identified above.

We use cookies to remember Bada Bingo web pages you have visited and share this with third parties for advertising purposes. These cookies do not share personal information such as a name or email address but they are used to tailor messages to your interests. Buzz Bingo website uses cookies placed by parties to collect non-personal data that is used for online behavioural advertising.

If you have shared your email address with both us and Facebook, Facebook will use your profile to find similar Facebook users who may wish to become members or to provide you with associated information which we and/or Facebook believes to be relevant. Further details are provided on Facebook’s website. Facebook is an independent data control for this purpose of processing.

If you access our social media accounts or groups, the privacy notices for that social media platform will apply.

3.4 Visitors to Clubs and Offices

We use CCTV at our premises to prevent and detect crime. Additional signage is displayed at locations where CCTV is in operation. Footage will be retained for up to 28 days, unless it is required to be stored for longer as evidence of a crime or complaint.

A record of your visits will be retained for up to 6 years, in accordance with the statute of limitation.

3.5 Job Applicants

If you apply for a job with us, we will process your contact, career history, interview details and references, with the intent to enter into a contract. This does not guarantee an employment contract will be agreed. If your application is not successful, we will retain your details for up to 6 months, unless other roles are of interest in which case details will be retained for longer.

3.6 Employees

If you are successful in gaining employment with us, we will process your personal data in accordance with the internal Employee Privacy Notice.

4 Your Data Protection Rights

You have the right to request:

  • That we send a copy of your personal data to you or a nominated third party.
  • That we correct errors in your personal data.
  • That we delete your personal data.
  • That we restrict processing of your data.
  • That we explain any profiling or automated decision making that used your data.

We will contact you within one week, to:

1) Confirm receipt of your request. If you do not receive receipt, please contact us again as there may be an operational error that we’ll be keen to escalate and resolve.

2) Let you know if we need to verify your identity or contact details.

3) Check that we understand the purpose of the request and that our response will address your specific concern.

We will normally complete requests within 1 month of your identity being verified, at no cost.

Generic requests that are not associated with a clear purpose may be deemed “manifestly unfounded” and may be declined.

We will support data subjects with any valid and reasonable request.

If we are unable to fulfil your request, we will inform you of the reasons.

If you think we have not fulfilled our duties under the data protection law, please escalate the matter to our independent data protection officer, who will take further steps to internally escalate the matter with senior managers and to resolve your concerns. You also have the right to escalate matters to our data protection regulator (, however, we ask that you try to resolve concerns directly with Buzz Bingo in the first instance.

5 Further Information

It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.

Our website provides links to other websites and to social media sites, which are beyond our control. We encourage you to read the privacy notices of the other websites you visit. We are not responsible for those companies’ privacy notices or processing.

Where required by law or to support criminal investigations, we will share data with external authorities, such as regulators and law enforcement agencies. Retention periods will be extended where necessary to support this purpose.

We will share your data with other members of the Buzz Group, for administrative purposes and where they operate services on our behalf. We may also outsource our processes to third parties under written contract. Those processors will only be authorised to process your personal data for purposes described above.

Your data will be shared with organisations if our company engages with them as part of corporate merger or acquisition activities.
